I´m now back from the Netherlands after the opening of Wild Wonders of Europe exhibition in The Hague. I have two photographs out of the 100 images in this exhibition and it is open until August 30th.
I also had time for one intense day with the birds on Texel, which I really enjoyed. For a long time I had wanted to shoot Avocets, Godwits and Sandwich Terns, and I obtained some good advice about where to find them. Thanks to Marc Plomp at the Vogelinformationcentrum in Texel! At the evening session I went for Avocets, and you can see some of my shots below. For all of these images I used the Nikon D3S with 600/4.0 VR, a combination that really rocks!
Nikon D3S with 600/4.0, 1/1600 sec, f/5.0 and ISO 1000
