Ole Jørgen Liodden is a professional nature photographer and founder of Naturfokus and naturfokus.com. He lives in Ringerike, about an hour north of Oslo. Ole Jørgen is a Nikon Ambassador in Norway and was also chosen as one of the photographers in the Wild Wonders of Europe project – the biggest photo project in Europe ever. He has published 6 books in the last 5 years. The last book is a how-to book on wildlife photography (the English version is coming). Ole Jørgen’s images received two awards in the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the year 2011, and three images received awards in the GDT 2011 competition. Ole Jørgen is considered to be one of the top wildlife photographers in Europe.

Ole Jørgen is an experienced photo guide and expedition leader to destinations like Svalbard, Antarctica, Africa and Galapagos. Svalbard, Polar bears and arctic nature and wildlife are some of Ole Jørgen’s specialities with 13 summer and winter expeditions to this archipelago and more than 150 encounters with Polar bears. He has been in Alaska for 10 months, on 5 expeditions to Antarctica / sub-Antarctic Islands, and more than 5 photo safaris to destinations in Africa.
